Applying Tourist Visa for Japan in Manila

It’s almost 3 years since I applied for my first Japan Visa, and as the pandemic restrictions are easing out my plan to go back and visit Japan is finally coming to reality, especially since my Birthday is just the corner.

I had a lot of good experiences around Osaka, Nara, Kyoto, Nikko, and Tokyo and it makes me emotional in remembering those good times. The Food, Anime, and Temples are one of the things that give me a nostalgic feel.

For this time I applied for a Multiple Entry Visa, and I hope It will be approved.

The Steps that I follow in Getting my Japanese Tourist Visa.

STEP 1: Find a Travel Agency.

In my experience, I always avail of Discovery Tours in processing my VISA as the requirements and the process especially for me who is living in the province. I trust this Agency as I’m already using their service since my second time applying for the VISA.

For the list of accredited Travel Agency, you may follow this link: https://www.ph.emb-japan.go.jp/itpr_ja/00_000253.html

STEP 2: Gather All Requirements.

After finding the Travel Agency that will handle my Japanese Visa, I asked them via email about the requirements and the process that I will be doing especially since I’m living in the province and all the documents will be submitted via Courier.

A list of the requirements can be seen below which is from the travel agency.

STEP 3: Submit All the Requirements to the Travel Agency.

Upon completing the Requirements, I deposited the VISA Processing Fee Online and Submitted all the Requirements including my Old Passport and all my Used Japanese Visas are inside.

STEP 4: Got My Approved VISA.

After 3 Days, I received a call from the Travel Agency that they will send back my Passport, but they did not tell me if my Visa was granted or refused. And after 2 Days Finally got my Passport with the VISA Stamp and Thankfully I was given a Multiple Entry Visa Valid for 5 Years.
