Photo Diary: Bayon Temple, Siem Reap, Cambodia

The Temple of Bayon, Located in the Ancient City of Angkor Thom, Served as a State Religion Main Building located in the Capital. Built between 12th to 13th Century. One of the unique features of the Temple is the Carved Faces in its Tower and the intricate wall carving to its walls that show the history and daily lives during Ancient Times.

After visiting the Angkor in the Morning and rested in the Hotel where I staying, We left in the afternoon to visit one of the most fascinating temples which is Bayon. During my trip, I was able to visit this Site Twice. For this Visit, we started to explore the Victory Gate toward the East Gate of Angkor Thom. The Angkor Thom is like a walled city where important buildings are built including the palaces and temples. The whole complex is enclosed with a wall and a moat system.
